• Cleanup Overview
  • all but the 4 games multiplayer games we need to address together have been given at least 5 scores
  • only 1 judge who never started, everyone else finished or close
  • Marc is planning on playing some extra games
  • top 65 games are 7.5 and up
• Alumni Penalty and General Scoring Discussion
  • Do we want to consider a maximum time of showing?
  • How many games do we want on the floor?
    • Ok with 65
  • What happens with multiple games from the same dev?
    • We traditionally have offered them the option of one booth per game as long as they have the coverage or showing multiple games at the same booth
  • Will make a tab with no penalty, half a point, quarter of a point, then compare next meeting

  • Should the “Would you judge next year” question be a yes/no?
    • Lots of discussion around this one
    • Binary yes/no is definitive answer, but feedback forms are anonymous, so does this help?
    • Scale answer shows trends compared to previous years and covers the “maybe” answers. Does this give us what we’re looking for though?

    • Include in the showcase this year, but need to be clear that devs need to run the booth
    • Need to have big discussion before next year
  • Several crossover games
    • Need to better understand what other indie areas are (Retro, VR, etc.)
    • MIVS is the place for devs who want to be present when showing their game. Place to interact with audience.
