• Judging update
  • Games with issues
    • for “bad link” games where the judge just doesn’t have a google account to access the drive, we will remove and assign a different game
    • for “game is broken” games where other judges had no issue and we can’t replicate, remove the and assign a different game to that judge. also reach out to them and ask if they can share their specs for us to report back to the dev
    • Make sure judges know Overdriven Evolution has Switch codes. We do have some backup Steam codes as a last resort
  • Out of 75 judges:
    • 39 have completed all their games
    • 14 have not started
  • Out of 166 games:
    • 5 have been fully reviewed
    • 3 have not been reviewed at all
• Call for new business
  • Jakeypoo is speaking on a panel in London on Wednesday about minigames! Congrats Jake!!!

  • Should Retroware games be included? Do these meet our MIVS specifications?
    • started discussing this during this week’s meeting, especially the more general “What makes something an indie game?”
      • Quality is not a good definer
      • Amount of money is not a good definer, but where the money came from is better
      • IGF dealt with this a few years back. Should we include something like this in our call for applications? Should come up with our own set of guidelines to review games submitted.       • The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest is clearly a solo dev, but questions raised about Toxic Crusaders. Is this one a work for hire tie-in with the new movie?
