Retrospective

From the Idea pad at MAGFest:

• Contact Hotels before MF for security locker rules. Hit them up at MAGFest ASAP so we can get the locker up and rolling
• Contact Techops before MF for how to handle indie wi-fi. (IE, primary contact on MIVS Groups?)
• Easels didn't show up late thursday, mostly due to borrowing them from Arcade. Maybe there is an easel master we can hit up beforehand?
• Items from tech-ops were no-shows at show start, but showed up later.
• Indies need to label their things for the locker
• Have ideas pad for notes during mf
• Post Card sized sign for check-in/out plus easel
• sign-in for QP interferred w/ other signups
• Coordinate w/ Social Media for #MIVS2018
• Have a sign on easel explaining quickplay signups
• extra laptops for signups (at staff discretion)
• check-in / out list for indies in the closet - ie "Studio name + stuff store"
• indie help desk banner @ops
• raffle system for quickplay
• For ribbon: Gold w/ black text, just say "MIVS"?
• More fun names for volunteers. Department Lead = commander. General volunteer = cat/kat wrangler
• Having a DJ is itself not a bad idea, if the volume level is kept reasonable and the music style conducive to socializing and having conversations. If done right, having background music can be a plus. :D
