Jesse -
- Links to website broken mid process was not good
- Rollover reggie sooner
- All of the fields in Reggie that we were using for MIVSFit were not marked as required
- Nicole did a ton of extra work to fill them out, but it would help a lot to have them required in the future
- Submit button in middle of page is an easy fix to an annoying problem
- Clear up primary contact (or send to all studio members)
- Judging - tipsy raccoons. game was a really great part of MIVS, glad they were accepted, but when people try to submit cabinet games or other weird games, we just need a PC or mac build to actually be able to judge it.
- Do that for any weird games we get so they can truly be judged.
- We Need to discuss how we handle "what is a MIVS game"
- MIVSFIT - happy with it, happy with the projectors and wrote those model numbers down to request them. spent a lot of time babysitting with some video issue, but it was sorted out.
- Layout - super happy with it, great flow. Happy with where MIVS ops was. home brew was a good spot. not too many dead spots, but some stuff is unavoidable like near battle pods
- Quickplay was very vacant for most of the show. We took a LOT of games this year, that could impact it. We had very few left over to show at quickplay. didn't have the draw from previous years
- We have a good vibe with things this year. Even games that weren't the best, did a good job of showing. Not too much trouble with things. I hope we get a bigger pool of submissions next year and have remainders that could fill quickplay up
- MIVS App - Jeremy did an amazing job on that. It did a great job for engagement. Miracle Mia dad did a great job there getting people to sign up and testing it out. Review data went out quickly after show, super awesome. We have so many ideas for it, can't wait to see how it grows and improves
- Awards - App seemed to simplify awards, hope that helped Marc. Legit most heartwarming award was to Best Mom award and Best Dad award. No one had a dry eye for those - that was my favorite part. See that continued when it's appropriate. Great off the cuff award
- We did water runs this year - we did two runs to the indies and gave them bottles of water. a lot of teams had water, but those that didn't really appreciated it. Maybe we can do that at check in in the morning each day
- Lighting was really good this year - yay for new lights, good job on working with them Pete
- Hall positioning. It was good being in that hall this year. Marketplace was our sound buffer to arcade, this year was good so we didn't get drowned out. Consoles is quiet so we didn't have a problem there. Dulled the roar of arcade
- Some people liked the dj for indie arcade, some didn't. Jesse liked it. Volume was a little too loud, worth bringing up to indie arcade to talk about
