Kotey:

• what worked:    -volunteer coverage   -two people used the wrong tape.    -will do a better list of items.    -will check rugs pre-show   -working on tourney space at the jampod + projector + dev build (vr might be hard)

• new ideas   -tourney space for next year

Jacob:

• what worked   -generally happy with how it turned out   -was worried about halls but happy with expo b   -liked indies we had

• Recruitment: formalize process of how we get volunteers pointed towards staff. maybe add a form question to ask if they want to staff next year, and see what they think about coming on staff. -Shout out to Kat about new volunteers
• Awards: shoutout to John on awards. lean away from awarding alumni, and want to reward new stuff. codify out process on what deserves and award. want to award new stuff more than old stuff. award is the cherry on top. e.g. splitty robot. -Kotey says honorable mention might be a good addition. maybe award for alumni and new presenter. Best newcomer. Curation process should give an award for making it in. (IGF has best debut studio). Laurels
• Area Lead: would like better access to spreadsheets etc for shifts/quickplay. Which laptop is being used for this. WIFI was garbage.
• also need instructions on walkie talkie usage for Area Lead
• Obelisk: looked nice but is a death trap. setup/teardown is OSHA concern. build up/tear down was safest this year. Socks talked about making Obelisk more sturdy/robust. ACTION: need to write how to install/teardown and make safer /

• what worked   -mainly overnight. concerns over shutdown. security did good job clearing room.   -no major issues

• what worked   -thought it all went pretty well   -have a better list of things to not do for developers   -load out palette was new this year and a mess   -unbeatable team was so late to get out and was self inflicted    -how do we communicate to devs that everyone here is a volunteer and don't be a dick (E.g. VIBE section)

• what worked -IA/MIVS good, minor tweaks. move check in/out to side and not middle -load in was good -handsanitizer train was good -volunteer in/out printed for the day would be great -have someone slated to run food -felt separated but mostly self imposed -last minute changes we handled well -figure out who is going to project on wall -tourney - maybe get a better list at ops? add a whiteboard to show it as well. - Kotey: can we pump a stream to magtv or something for each? -discord - we need an indies channel in mag discord. revisit next year -Library - staff of library department (lauren is head) - next shrine
