  • Awesome Con Recap
    • It was good
    • Probably same # of games next year, but push for a few more
    • Tested out devs setting own schedule and worked fairly ok
      • Didn’t notice much. Devs kept themselves there.
      • Be sure to get detailed troubleshooting/reboot instructions and contact info in advance
  • Library of Congress games
    • Doesn’t seem like it’s “special” enough to warrant its own space
    • Would work better somewhere like Awesome Con
    • Like it in theory, but don’t see it working in practice because not quite a fit for MAG and MIVS. Might have a different opinion once they saw the games
    • Not unheard of, but doesn’t terribly fit. Do they market it? Do we market it? There would be a lot of extra things we’d need to do.
    • Could maybe see it on a laptop in the ops area

    • Keep doing what you’re doing
    • Less repeat games
      • Luigi likes what we have. No issue if it’s a good game.
      • Did try seeing what the penalty did this year, but bumped too many alumni out and we wanted some “mentors” to help the newbies
      • Maybe look at having a set ratio and waitlisting games after hitting the alumni cap
    • Tournaments are liked, but still need some fine tuning

      • Like the idea of being able to see out into MIVS. That’s part of the joy
