• Initiatives for this year
  • Department outreach -
    • to pitch them identifying their Scout-friendly content and tagging it
    • to make sure Panels flags all the Scout appropriate panels in guidebook
  • Scouts meetup panel submission
    • Move it to a slightly later time to accommodate scouts traveling in from Alexandria hotels/local area commuters - 10am+?
  • Activity booklet
    • Simplified so we can get it to print cheaper and faster this year <3
  • Scavenger hunt
    • Use Jasmin’s self-service stamp system from WEST to make it lower lift
  • Merch - Nate
    • How did junior size tshirts sell, is this worth repeating?
    • Inventory and reorder if needed stickers and patches
    • Keychains? Something other than patches for scavenger hunt prize?
  • New art?
    • if someone wants to generate some! happy to reuse old assets
    • Changes are happening with Theme Team that will be in our favor so new art will be easier than before.
  • School Groups - Nate
    • Cralls / office execute this, but we help out and make sure it happens
    • Coordinate devs for Q&A, find new HS programs, etc

  • “lots” of patches
  • these numbers are all too high now bc it went to WEST
  • We need crayons
• School groups is no longer really our project to run, but we need to collaborate and advocate <3
• Tabletop -
  • schedules being built now, early games were good, there was a feedback request for some later games as some families aren’t in the gaylord, traffic etc. Maybe some afternoon content?
• Panel ideas!
  • would D&D or Pathfinder be open to submitting a panel for scouts that is “how to start running a game for kids” - to teach kids how to self-start it etc
    • magscouts could also submit it, but we’re hoping the panelists will be DMs from either those depts or Guests.
  • would MAGFast be amenable to a “how to get into speedrunning”
