Merch update!
- Nate talked to Dac about merch. Recapped about what and why. The goal is to sell youth tshirts this year with an evergreen design that will be sold and advertised at the merch book. Dac has a list of steps for us and is actively brainstorming on further steps. It has been added to Dac’s sprint.
  - Will be talking to theme team today about whether to stick with Katie’s design or if we should go back to the drawing board for a new design
    - Will run it by us before moving forward
  - Talk to Fangamer about if they want to own it vs us seeking another printer. Fangamer may have ideas about design and sizes
- Dac has questions for us:
  - Is a shirt the only piece of youth centric merch we’re interested in? Looking to us to guide him on what to offer to the younger attendees
    - other merch is already appropriate, so the goal is literally just smaller shirts
  - Do we think we should be leaning into cute, colorful, fun or do we want to do something more subdued and “cool”
    - colorful and fun because if you’re worried about being cool, you’re probably already looking at adult shirts
  - Where is budget coming from?
    - Thinks he could probably put it under org merch budget
- Could we maybe do a small run of the shirt in larger sizes?
MAGPie for Scouts meetup?
- They loved having us. The answer is to get into the department and make sure you sign up for the shift to run the space when you want to have the meetup
- When do we want to run this?
  - An hour in the morning
  - Jennifer and her little one will be there again. She would like to sign up for a shift.

  - pretty much almost done. just have to do Bigma’s outline. added a cryptograph. have the tabletop gaming page in the front to lay out what’s available for families. kept the scavenger hunt.

  - have signage still from last time for scavenger hunt
    - Jinx is going to talk to Katie about reusing the signs and characters. If so, will add those characters to the booklet welcome email. If we have to reprint, Jinx will let us know.
    - other idea would be to make evergreen signs of the shapes and change out character stickers every year?
  - should have tabletop schedule by November-ish

  - Cralls updates are there’s no big updates. It’s on Cralls’ running doc to talk to Deb about how this would work this year.
    - Already planning to order extra badges
  - Hagerstown school wants to do it again, but with a smaller group of the just the upper classmen and also plans to have a longer time with them.
  - Cralls is going to GAMEMASON which is George Mason’s game dev program this weekend.
  - Deb would like us to have more of a guide so it’s self-guided instead of led. Departments could still do something special like how Indies did a Q&A.
- New Business!
  - Jennifer needs a new Slack invite. Nate started this process, but will poke a Slack admin.
  - magTV static commercial spot? - Lauren will post in Slack and see if anyone’s interested in this
  - Fall MAGCon is next month is Oct 10-12
    - Nate won’t be there, but Lauren will
    - It’s a great time to see other departments in person and follow up with them about content they wish to label or create as scouts content

Action Items:
