The Music and Gaming Festival (MAGFest) has allotted $20,000 for new and exciting projects within our staffing community! An undetermined number of projects will be selected by a selection committee (made up of volunteer staff and some employees) and awarded between $1,000 - $10,000 of funding. Projects must be engaging and innovative and align with MAGFest’s

Proposals will be evaluated in March/April, awarded in April, and publicly announced at Spring MAGCon 2025. Projects should be completed by May 2026.
The selection committee will be composed of at least five staff members, who will be selected by organization leadership with input from the Board of Directors. Committee members will review each application using a rubric based on mission alignment, achievability, and creativity and innovation. Please note that if a committee member finds themselves involved with a project proposal, then they must agree to recuse themselves from the committee to avoid any conflicts of interest.
