The following policy is to be followed by all MAGFest departments to get your departments event promoted.

Social Media Request Policy

1. All requests are to be made in Slack via #socialmedia-request channel in the form of a top level post
   • Your post needs to contain text/description, optional image, and preferred timeframe.
   • Any top-level post that is not a request will be deleted immediately.
2. All responses and comments must be threaded to the original post.
   • This is to avoid clogging the channel with unnecessary conversation. This also helps ensure we don't miss a request by it getting buried in a wall of text.
3. Internally made requests must be done the same way.
   • By following our own policies we create validation when we have to enforce it.
