Hello and Welcome to the Indie Retro Volunteer Handbook! This’ll be your handy-dandy guide to all things volunteering for the Indie Retro booth at Super MAGFest 2025. This Handbook will outline key roles, responsibilities, duties, and general information about the booth and anything MAGFest that may be helpful. We’re the spot attendees flock to to relive the good ‘ol days of CRTs and couch co-op, but with a modern, indie twist. Whether it’s to check out our unique collection of retro-style homebrew titles made by beloved indies, or to play fan-favorite classics, we draw a fun crowd of all ages. Our main goal as staff and volunteers of Indie Retro is to ensure the booth remains a fun, safe area for people who want to come chill with their favorite, old-school video game hardware.

The Indie Retro booth is towards the back of Expo Hall C, also known in the Gaylord as Prince George’s Expo Hall.
The Indie Retro booth operates 24 hours a day from the start till the end of Super MAGFest. This is all thanks to our volunteer/staff round-the-clock coverage!
