In certain cases, professional MAGFest business cards can be created and distributed to paid and unpaid staff of MAGFest. This document is to serve as a policy on eligibility, usage, and propriety with regards to business cards purchased and provided by MAGFest.

Eligibility is ultimately up to the discretion of the office and Executive Director. Your eligibility may be granted or denied on a case-by-case basis. However, below are the general guidelines for various MAGFest personnel.

Usage and Propriety

MAGFest business cards are only to be used and distributed when representing MAGFest as an organization. Owning and distributing MAGFest business cards comes with the responsibility of properly representing the organization, your division/department, and yourself as an entity of MAGFest.

You should feel free to hand out your MAGFest business card when interacting with someone that you’d like to exchange contact information with, pertaining to MAGFest. This could include an Arcade Head making new contact with an arcade owner, or a member of the Music Booking Department establishing a relationship with a potential performer. If you are in a leadership position at MAGFest, that means we ultimately trust your discretion to represent MAGFest properly and to hand out your business cards appropriately. Improper usage of MAGFest business cards may may result in your business card privileges being revoked, and may also impact your staffing privileges depending on severity.
