STREAM TALK
General:
- Vision team exists
- how much do we have to talk to them?
- 2nd most amount since we are stream #2
- mainly for Stream #1 / #3
- STOLDAL: unofficial vision team member
- may shift do to wonderville
Music:
- Socks wants to end Fri/Sat with a muscial thing
- may be magic music, or not-mag music?
- STOLDAL: do we need a budget?
- NATE: if we source it, most likely no budget. and if mag needs stage, indie arcade maybe
- STOLDAL: caution us against adding past our broadcast time
- suggest rebroadcast or play out of pre-record
Tech Stream:
- full tech chain:
- each area has single OBS to twitch
- Broadcast ops - the wizard behind the wizard
STOLDAL:
- all streams come to master control for re-broadcast to twitch
- they have a staffer for each stream
- this makes rebroadcasting easy because master control can do the recording
- clean copy
- want to schedule 10 minutes between for playouts to cover the stream cuts
- need squishy content to fill gap
- MAG1 will have hosts
NATE:
- MIGS may have hosts
- do they stream to master control to cover the gaps?
- does the showcaller make the call?
STOLDAL:
- everyone gets some block that ends 10 min before next block
- the showcaller gives master control the go ahead to transition to the filler block
- then the next showcaller indicates to master control that they are ready
- keep the load on the master control light
- figure out how both hosts can talk to each other and see how they can do a clean handoff
NATE:
- host could come into the end of the block for whoever is in control/streaming
- one source per department
- actual conversation between hosts would be amazing
STOLDAL:
- use discord voice to hear each other live
- used for moderators
- suggest to use the discord that is easiest for talent
- using mumble in grand team (e.g. hotkey voice channels)
- ACTION: Stoldal will send a diagram list for connections etc for MATT L. to update
- ACTION: Stoldal will send us a tech chain decision tree
- trying to get everyone to use similar terms: talent, feed, etc.
- Master Control will add station ids/overlays etc. We are MAG2
MATT:
- any concern about one machine doing the aggregator machine (in his diagram).
