• GameDevsofColor Expo
• canned video
• a lot of features were unused
• there was some bloat and was unused
• we should hit a few goals and really do them
• still likes the idea of partnering with streamers to have better viewers
• can we get connections to streamers / guests from MAG proper?
• andrew is hosting a virtual award show and he will MC it
• nov is target date

Jacob:

• no additional comments
• how do we tie into VIRT SUPER FROM MAG
• viewing schedule
• what is the spirit of MIVS guidelines for streamers (family friendly)
• playing games
• submissions aren't a burden to indies, we should open up and be vague

Joel:

• nothing to add

John:

• but has tech ideas on over
• we need to start submissions

Kat:

• trying to figure out confluence
• reach out to previous devs and volunteers
• e.g. pappa mia (twitch), ashley from s-roo (running a virt event).
• preserve the vibe

Tronster:

• simulations group have done this a few times
• they have custom software / discord
• reach out to them in slack

Lauren:

• we are in holding period
• there is interest in a virtual event
• how many decisions can we nail down before magfest happens

Marc:

• ACTION: look at indie land VODs
• look at his setup and how he incorporates the devs
• has a good list of links and store pages
• he has good bot commands
• he puts on trailers between games

Kotey:

• itch.io
• look into this for demos
• itch is free vs steam $100
• kotey has a stream team dev

Tronster:

• LAN is doing some virt env (reach out to them?)
• double down on outreach
• indie arcade is moving forward (reach out to them?)
• Goals: keep the fun and keep it positive!

Tyler:

• people are still trying to put together the VR CHAT
• they are turning out content / spaces
• Oct 3rd to present to BOD
• Unity VR Chat API for room construction
