The MAGFest Makerspace is a place where attendees can come learn a hands-on skill or work on a craft project using freely available tools and materials. This handbook provides an overview of the department and standard operating procedures for Makerspace volunteers.

Makerspace volunteers should be invited to the MAGFest Slack. We use the #super-makerspace channel for public-facing discussion within the organization. We also have a #makerspace-heads channel for managers and department heads.
