Secondary Games at MAGFest
"The game you're submitting to MIVS should be the main event of your booth. It should always be shown and playable during core hours. Secondary games may be shown, but they must have a significant contribution made by the team members who created the submitted game. To show a secondary game, you will have to notify MIVS staff (during preflight is the most helpful) and have a staff member review it at MAGFest. This policy is at the discretion of MIVS Staff. "
Publishers at MAGFest
The game you're submitting to MIVS must be the creation of your studio, self, or team. Games may not be submitted or shown by any team, studio, or developer that did not assist in the creation of the game. This includes publishers or outsourced entities assisting in the management or marketing of the game shown. The relationship of the indie to the publisher as perceived by MIVS is at MIVS discretion.
Selling at MAGFest
During MAGFest, you may sell game codes and merchandise that are directly tied to your game or your game studio. To do so, you must be signed up with us so that your information can be sent to the Maryland Comptroller and you are responsible for reporting taxes related to these sales. This policy is at the discretion of MIVS.
