• How things went:
  • Great game uptime, other than synthetic echoes
  • Main pain point is transit, getting to the show is a struggle
    • Hypothetically some slowdowns are a specific driver struggling with WV
    • Pickups take more time - Lex to Cincinnati, more pickups.
    • 1 delay balloons
  • badges - they would love 7-8
    • if they can get 4 and pay for 4, thats okay, as long as they can do it all at once rather than piecemeal
    • this year they ended up scrounging a bunch of random badges
  • layout
    • worried about figuring out layout on the fly, re: the big column
    • setting a layout much sooner will help
    • can we make sure the model scale is correct ASAP
  • want to switch from wall projection to projector screens
    • IA does not mind
  • limited time experiences / temporal experiences
    • fine to experiment with as long as they don’t have too much dead floorspace
    • limited time experiences that are 1 hour events can be submitted as a panel
• Going forward:
  • full truck?
    • worried about being slammed by extra gas
    • what about 2 half trucks (lex and cincy) instead?
      • this is better logistically, but more expensive
  • tuesday arrival?
    • if this is in budget for the org they would love to do this!
    • worst case if they arrive 4am tuesday, they can park it on arrival, and unload wednesday
    • extending the room is the issue but we can definitely try
      • they want tuesday arrival
      • they’re ambivalent about sunday vs monday departure, we might as well try for it
  • arcade machines vs alt ctrl machines, do we care about the balance?
    • everything they bring us is something we couldn’t get, so we’re happy for it to be whatever they can find and want to bring us
• Action items
  • push for tuesday-monday rooms and trucks
  • push for full truck stipend, and either full truck or 2 half trucks
  • badges - can we just secure all 8 at the outset, even if the org pays for 4?
  • RJD to figure out specifics of what sorts of 1-off experiences they might want to either put in the hall or in a panel
  • we’ll be reaching out about broadening outreach - chicago, anywhere in the general midwest
