Staff Operations (STOPS) is a managerial department that distributes office supplies for smaller departments, insures that department heads are completing their checklists, organizes staff room assignments, and serves as the at-event point of contact for all things staff related.
Staff Expectations
- It’s important that STOPS staffers remain professional and considerate.
- If you need to step away from a situation, take a break, or call for help we are only a radio call away.
- Try to de-escalate issues whenever possible and to ask department heads or managers of MAGFest (MOMs) for help when needed.

Position Duties
STOPS Manager:
- Package and distribute department office supply requests.
- Serve as point of contact for ad-hoc staff administration:
- Help walk-up volunteer registration
- Change staff schedules (adding, dropping, or swapping)
- Distribute staff packets and staff shirts
- Mark shift progress
- Route pertinent issues (e.g. misconduct, rooming) to STOPS department heads.
