Staff Pre-Lottery Room Reservation Policy

<aside> ❗ NOTE: This is not a replacement for the standard rooming process, in which 4 staffers are assigned to a MAG-paid room (best matched according to their requests). This is an additional perk we offer to all eligible Super MAGFest staffers, giving an additional option for staff housing.

This is an opportunity for MAGFest staff to reserve/pay for a hotel room before the general public is able to participate in the lottery. Please note this is a significant privilege.

Important Dates:

<aside> 🗓️ Staff Pre-Lottery Closes: Sunday, 9/14 at 11:59pm ET

<aside> 🗓️ Reservation Confirmation “Award” emails sent: Thursday, 9/18

<aside> 🗓️ Time Period to Accept Award and Enter Credit Card Info: 9/18 - 9/27

Who is eligible?

“Eligible staff” is anyone who would be imported as staff for Super 2026, which is:

<aside> 💡 Anyone who staffed at Super 2025

</aside>

<aside> 💡 Anyone who staffed at Super 2024 but submitted a deferral request for Super 2025

</aside>

<aside> 💡 Anyone who earned staff status at Super 2025

</aside>

Staffers who are being fast-tracked for Super 2026 will not be eligible for this perk.

Rates:

This is a list of hotel rates for Super 2026 (use the “Staff/Attendee Paid” column). Please look at the rates before committing to a reservation. Please note that suites in the Gaylord are not available through this process. The rates are included on the linked sheet for departmental planning and budgeting purposes.
